I started my career as a driving instructor
back in the 1980's before joining the Department of Transport as a Driving Examiner. Now I'm back doing the job that I love:
running my own driving school & teaching you to drive. I'm in a fairly unique position as I know exactly what the
driving examiner is looking for on your driving test and can transfer this knowledge to you during your driving lessons.
I operate my driving school under franchise
from Learner Driving Centres (LDC), one of the UK’s
Largest Driving Schools with a great track record in driving tuition and instructor training. As your local LDC driving
school instructor I've access to leading edge training materials to compliment the in-car training I deliver. I’ll happily

I’ll tailor your driving lessons
to suit you and your needs. If you’d like to meet me before paying for lessons, I’m more than happy to
offer a free home visit to introduce myself to you and your parents (where appropriate). During this time I can check
your vision to ensure you can read a number plate from the minimum required distance of 20.5 metres (approx. 5 car lengths).
I'll also bring with me a copy of the LDC Driving Skills Workbook and a set of the Driving Skills DVD's to show you the training
system I encourage my pupils to use. In addition, if you have had previous experience and would like to have a quick drive
to establish your skill level, we can go out for a short drive.
If you do decide to book your driving
lessons with me I'll give you the workbook and loan you the DVD's so you can prepare for your first proper driving lesson
with me. Of course these are free of charge.
